Athlete profiles are at the core of NinjaTrainer. All training data — course runs, skill performances, stats — is tracked per athlete.
Create a profile for yourself to track your own training. You can have multiple athlete profiles under your account.
Parents and coaches can create managed athlete profiles for kids or students who don't have their own accounts.
Go to your Profile tab and tap "My Teams"
Tap "Create Team" and enter a name, description, and team color
Optionally add a location and profile image for your team
Start inviting athletes to join
There are several ways to add athletes to your team:
Generate a shareable invite code that athletes can enter to join your team. You can set expiration dates and usage limits on codes.
Share a QR code that athletes can scan with the app to instantly join. Great for in-person sign-ups at the gym.
Athletes can search for your team and send a join request. As the team owner, you can approve or deny requests.
Every team gets a messaging channel where all members can communicate. Find it in the Chat tab.
Share courses with your team so all members can run them. Go to a course and tap "Share with Team" to add it.
Start a group training session where multiple athletes run a course together. Track everyone's progress in real-time, and other team members can spectate.
View aggregated performance analytics for your entire team. See who's improving, compare progress, and identify areas to focus on.
Pro subscribers can activate Team Pass to give all team members access to Pro-level features like team runs, team stats, and team video — even if individual members are on the Free plan.
To activate: go to your team settings and enable Team Pass. It applies to all current and future members of that team.
Control who can view and manage athlete data:
Grant other users permission to view or manage specific athletes. Choose between read-only, manage, or full access levels.
Team owners control who can manage team settings and members. Members can view team courses and participate in runs.
